Beaded Spider and My First Experiences With Wire Wrapping

Wire Beaded Spider for Beginners, You can make this too!

It's a project that can look rather intimidating.  In reality, it is pretty easy and you can put this interesting little spider together in about an hour.

Recently I have been participating in Facebook auctions.  If you are unsure of what those are, it is a group of people that all live in the same area and agree to meet weekly to exchange items we purchased through virtual auctions.

Homemade Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

The Best Peanut Butter Fudge....like....... for reals!

Your Key To Success -- The Soft Ball Stage

Don't let candy making scare you. Once you learn the basics, making candy can become rather easy. I will make two or three batches of this recipe over baking a cake from scratch every day of the week. If you can boil water you can do this.

The process is just like cooking most other things. When not cooked fully, it will be soggy. If you cook it too long, it will be dry. Sometimes it takes a batch or two to figure it all out.

Edward The Polymer Clay Elephant

I have done some previous work with polymer clay.  Mostly making polymer canes to attach to my crochet hooks so that I can make these awesome handles.  I figured I would try my hand at a little sculpting and this is the second figurine I have come up with.  My first figurine was Cartman from South Park.  Unfortunately I knocked him off my dresser and he broke.  It is okay, he was not great to begin with hehe.

Polymer Clay Craft Elephant Figurine

The only "tool" I used for this projects was a knitting hook.  I have not bought any fine grade sandpaper yet so my texture is not quite as smooth as I would like it to be.  I also did not have any blending tools so I was not able to get a good blend in the smaller areas of the elephant.

Zig the Zag Scarf Free Crochet Pattern

Zig the Zag Free Crochet Scarf Pattern From That Crafty Girl From Ohio
A new scarf for all of you just in time for the last little bits of winter.  This design is made with 3 different colors of worsted weight yarn.  You can pick any yarn of your choosing.  The pattern looks complex but in reality, it is quite simple.  Using the 3 colors help give the pattern more dimension but a single color could also be used.

I originally wrote this pattern as a woman's scarf but as I showed my friends some of my finished crochet projects, we have all concluded that this scarf could also be considered unisex.

The pattern is also airy, it may not be the best in below 0 F temperatures but as spring is coming soon, this is a great scarf for that transitional period between winter and spring.  Or crochet it in shades of brown and red, put it up for fall.

Feel free to sell anything you make from my pattern.  If you would like to share the images from this post please feel free.  All I ask is that you link the images back to me but feel free to share away. Backlinks make the world go around.  If you do feature this pattern, please let me know in the comments so I can add your post to my sidebar.  DO NOT post the actual pattern anywhere.  Let's just help each other out, rather than stealing

Add this pattern to Ravelry for later crocheting!
